I am currently working full-time as an Associate Editor for the journal Frontiers in Education. In this role, I supervise the creation and introduction of new journals within the Educational Sciences, Pedagogical Sciences, and Learning Sciences fields. I also promote the growth of strong connections with prominent scholars, actively establishing and managing new Editorial Boards, which includes recruiting new Chief Editors. Additionally, I serve as the main point of contact for newly appointed Chief, Associate, and Review Editors, ensuring that we meet our journal content acquisition goals before the launch. I create and provide training materials focused on profiling and data management for new Journal Launch Specialists, and I develop and execute commissioning strategies to attract high-quality content aligned with the journal's focus areas. Furthermore, I coordinate with various teams, such as Journal Teams, Content Specialists, and Review Operations, to set up effective workflows for both pre-launch and post-launch activities.
Alongside this, I am the Founder and Director of Academic Chronicles Private Limited, India. In this role, I oversee the recruitment of prominent scholars and the formation of new Editorial Boards for academic journals in the Social Sciences and Educational Sciences, ensuring that qualified Chief Editors are appointed. I design and implement robust commissioning strategies to secure high-quality, peer-reviewed content that aligns with the journals’ academic scope. As the primary liaison for newly appointed Chief, Associate, and Review Editors, I guide them through the editorial process, ensuring the timely acquisition of relevant content. I also develop and deliver training materials on data management, profiling, and best practices for journal content acquisition, aimed at Journal Launch Specialists and editorial teams. Additionally, I supervise the planning, creation, and successful launch of new journals, ensuring that rigorous editorial workflows are in place. I collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Journal Teams, Content Specialists, and Review Operations—to establish efficient operational processes, supporting both pre-launch and post-launch phases of the journals.
Throughout my career, I have published over 100 research papers in reputed international journals, all of which are indexed in SCOPUS and/or Web of Science. These publications, many of which have appeared in renowned platforms like Taylor and Francis, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Emerald, IEEE, and Sage, reflect the diversity and depth of my research interests. In addition, I have been fortunate to share my work through invited talks and presentations at more than 120 national and international conferences and seminars, engaging with scholars and experts across a wide range of topics. My journey as a researcher has been driven by curiosity and a desire to contribute meaningful insights to the global academic community.
At the heart of my research philosophy is the belief that education is the most powerful tool to transform not just individuals, but entire societies and the world at large. Grounded in my work in Mathematics Education, Educational Technology, Teacher Education, Educational Sociology, Educational Psychology, and the Philosophy of Education, I strive to create learning environments that promote both intellectual growth and emotional resilience. I see education as a vital force for social justice, equity, and sustainable development, and my research is dedicated to advancing these ideals.
In today’s globalized world, the challenges we face—whether societal, environmental, or technological—require innovative approaches to education. My exploration of Happiness Engineering and Well-Being in Schools aims to cultivate not only academic success but also emotional intelligence, empathy, and a sense of global citizenship. I believe that a holistic approach to education fosters not just individual achievement, but a deeper commitment to the common good. Through my research in Educational Technology, I seek to harness the potential of AI, game-based learning, and digital tools to create inclusive, future-ready learning systems. My ultimate goal is to contribute to an educational model that prepares students not just for careers, but for meaningful, responsible participation in an interconnected world, where education is a catalyst for positive change at both local and global levels.
